![]() ![]() January February March April May June July August September October November DecemberJANUARY 2007As you can see from the graphic the ads were not showing until January 16th. Click for full screen ![]() I really did not know what to expect, the first few days were pretty uneventful. Then I had a $5.00 day followed with another $5.00 day. If these earnings averaged this rate for a year it is still $1800! This confirmed that Project MADDOG is an obtainable goal although proving much more work must be done. I began to re-write the website, I added ATV reviews, ATV Tire reviews, and updated the trail information with some additional content. On January 29th is when the re-designed site went live. No major fluctuations in traffic or change in earnings at this point. Note the high traffic in Jan 27th and 28th were me working diligently updating the content. One script that allowed me to make all these updates possible was purchased from Review Script: ![]() This software allowed me to incorporate reviews and set my site up with mysql - I paid an extra $20 to have it professionally installed which I recommend as well. The new content had not been registered in search engines yet, but my existing readers checked the new content out bumping up my pageviews. I would say that the main point I learned in January is the 160 pixel tower ad located on the left hand side where most site put buttons seemed to draw the most clicks. It is listed on the google heat map, the banner at the bottom of the page had a poor response and it showed red on Google's heat map as well. Suprisingly the ads that were in the middle of the content did not seem to be performing well either. But this is early in the game. Take me onto the February stats!
