The best way I have found to build traffic is have content that is desirable enough to have people link to it on their own. This creates backlinks in Google growing your rankings higher and higher and rumor is the higher you rank in Google, the more per click you receive although I cannot confirm that statement.
Although some pay $.10 a click for yahoo traffic, it seems as soon as you stop paying their goes your traffic. And if Google is paying $.05 you loose a nickel for every click from the yahoo website. There are some companies that will create several hundred backlinks for a fee, I have no experience doing this but have read about them. As you can tell I take all these oppportuities that I read about online with a grain of salt. I have been burned and know what it feels like. Although this may hurt me too, if anyone has any real valid suggestions on building traffic quickly, please email me. I know that great content over time is the most cost effective solution but with Project Maddog I dont have much time. patrick@greatadsense.net
